Welcome to the Visual Building site. Here you will find information concerning the company, its services and its products. We concentrate on just the Visual Building range of products and therefore able to focus on providing you with what we believe is the best value for money building design product on the market. Visual Building is a CAD application specific to the construction of buildings and is suitable for Architects, Builders, Interior Designers, Selfbuilders Home owners - infact anyone that wishes to create and maintain building floor plans. Throughout the web site you will find many different example uses of Visual Building, including the creation of floor plans to the creation of 3D models and of course 3D home design. The floor plans can vary in complexity and presentation style for use by home owners, builders, estate agents, interior designers and architects. |
So if you are a self builder and interested mainly in the features specifically for self builders, you will still have all the tools and features used by architects and every other profiled user that we have demonstrated.

Almost all the examples (except for the examples specific to Visual Building Solar Designer) presented could be produced by the Visual Building Basic version, but for more advanced features such as 3D object editing / creation or import/export of DWG you can use the features of the more advanced Visual Building Professional or Visual Building Premium versions. See the feature table for a complete list of features and comparison between the available versions. The new low cost entry level Visual Building Lite can also produce most of the floor plans and buildings- but check the features list to determine which product version is most suitable to you.
If you need a floor plan as an estate agent, or a drawing for a planning application, or creating a house design as a self builder / home owner, then with the 2D tools you will quickly generate your plans. As an architect or self builder you will appreciate the automatic creation of the 3D model from the 2D plan. As an interior designer you can then furnish your project and view it using different light sources and geographical locations.
If you need 2D / 3D house design software, then you should try Visual Building. Whichever version you choose, you can always upgrade later without concern of loss of data, features or investment.
Visual Building is also capable of landscaping, garden design and site planning.
