Raytracing can be performed upon any 3D view, using its resolution / window size. The smaller the window, the faster the process is completed. All visible objects in the scene are considered in the process.
You can choose to raytrace to the screen or raytrace to a file for further use. You can save your raytraced image as .bmp, .jpg, .png or .gif. You also have the abilit to define the level of antialiasing you want, smooth shadows, ambient occlusion, and the use of environment maps.

Note that effects will vary significantly depending upon lighting, textures and materials used.
Raytracing is possible with all versions of Visual Building.
