Hi i have been doing this but it only worked twice maybe it switch it self off ill try again. ive watched the video a hundred times

Then use CTL+W to change the between Inside edge, centre line and outside edge as the snapping point foe the wall.

I,m trying to snap to the inside making the guide line the outside dimensions of the building

Are you trying to snap a guideline to another guideline or object, or are you trying to snap a wall to a guideline?

Here are some common items concerning snapping:

When snapping a wall use Ctrl+W to change the snapping point from wall edge to centre line.

Be sure that you have snapping switched on. Its easy to switch off in the Quick access toolbar (
nect to grid icon).

Snapping properties can be changed for different objects. Right click on Snap tool to activate the following propeties panel:

I have tried many times but only managed twice to change the snaping from the centre line to the inside of the line.
I just carnt see why
