The frame aperture is 866 x 2095
Jambs are 842 apart. The frames are constructed from 3/4" 19mm thick timber over shims. The casing is formed by a decorative architrave with moulded detail ( see picture sent earlier). The architrave is 150mm wide and is 45mm thick at the outer edge decreasing to 15mm at the door. The stops are 12mm, top and sides with no threshold. The stops are the depth of the frame less the door thickness i.e. 100. |

Hi
As ever thanks for responding, are you ever not working?? The attached pictures are a door and frame moulding that are at the project I'm working on. The format of the doors is typical of the building. Not all are exactly the same size or have the same details but the 4 panel arrangement is consistent. Most are 860 x 2080 x 50. The panels are half inch approx 12-13mm . The doors are always mounted flush to one wall rather than centred. Walls are 150-160mm. Is that enough to work with? Thanks again. |

Are there any more typically British doors available?
I'm particularly in need of Victorian and Georgian types i.e. 4 and 6 panel types and frames with decorative mouldings. Do you have a tutorial for constructing doors from scratch. I can create a door as a 3D object but that doesn't include opening and hinge positions etc. |
