Visual Building Professional has the 3D Construction tool, which allows you to create your own models. One of the methods used is Sweep Solids, which uses a 2D path to sweep a contour along to define the shape of a 3D solid. In this video we demonstrate how to create a path of a downpipe against an elevation of a house, and then create as a 3D object. The object can be saved as a construction object or further editing or included within the standard catalogue as a .cyg 3d object.
Although the 3D Construction tool is available within the Professional (and upwards) version the resulting .cyg objects can of course be used by all versions.
