You may want to save files into the main catalogue, which is located in an area protected by Windows UAC (User Access Control). This feature is to stop you accidently overwriting important installed files.

You may also want to save your project files into a normally reserved path. This will also allow that.

You can give Visual Building the ability to save files into the catalogue in the protected area, by right clicking on Visual Building's menu entry in the Windows Start menu or Desktop icon or its .exe file. This will activate the following dialog, where you should select the Compatibility tab:




Select Run this program as an administrator

You wil then be able to save your files in the main catalogue. When you have completed your task you can then remove the privilege if you wish.
