The first problem that I see with your project is that you have 17 multiple view of the cabin. This is because you are clicking the New 2D view and New 3D view icon instead of simply switching between the 2D and 3D views in the Project tab. Close all but the top 2D and 3D view in the project tab, by right clicking on each viewentry and selecting Close.
This is not the cause of your problem, but if you continue, you will have problems later - possibly running out of memory, especially if you start to add trees. To get the gable infill you are correct in setting the Rough height in the Ground floor properties dialog to a higher value, BUT this only has an effect if the Wall properties Height value is set to Automatic. You have limited the height of this wall to 2.4m.Double Click on the gable wall and in the Wall properties dialog change the Height back to Automatic and the wall height will increase to the roof. You have added the roof onto the ground fllor and set its height, which is correctly, but you could also have added a seconf floor, calling it Attic and add the roof to the attic. Th elatter method is only better if you want to use the roof space as a dditional accomodation, which in your case I assume is not the case, so the single floor solution you have chosen is best.
