Importing a 2D DXF / DWG file into an existing 2D view...
This video tutorial demonstrates how to import a DWG file into Visual Building.
Please pay particular attention to the need to have a 2D View window open, or the Import DWG menu will remain greyed out.
Every DWG/DXF plan will be different, with different layers and scales used. If you are not sure of the scale used then use an import scale of 0.001 to view the entire project in the preview window.
