Video Tutorial: Import scanned plan for use as trace template

This video demonstrates the following features:

 

Import a scanned .png  .bmp .jpg file and place into projec

Scale the imported scan using a known dimension

Trace the walls with new 2D walls

 

Note this video's main feature is the rescaling of the imported plan. This was achieved by right clicking on the imported plan and selecting Adjust scaling from the context menu. I then used the known measurement of 1486.5 mm (taken from the plan) to rescale the imported scan by defining the length of the known dimension.
After use you can either hide the scan using the visibility tool and selecting to hide all images or create a new layer with the floor plan, call it "scan" and then move the scan to that layer, which you can thien hide show as you wish.
