Visual Building and Visual Floorplanner are two very different products.

For Visual Building there is no automatic display of a rooms dimensions. Dimensions are determined by drawing a dimension line. There is however the ability to automatically display the room area and perimeter. If you want to show metric and imperial room dimensions you can use the rooms Comment field in the Labeling dialog, but this is not automatic.

I have VB Premium and would like to be able to automatically insert the room measurements, but whilst there are various options to insert the room name, areas and volume etc, there does not appear to be any way to automatically insert the measurements. On searching the Forum, the answer to a question on automatic imperial measurements, states that with Floor Planner, the automatic measurements can insert only both metric and imperial. Have I missed something or is this feature only available in the Floor Planner version?
