The reason that it requires multiple clicks to sel;ect a guideline is due to the possibility of selecting other items under the click, such as ceiling, floor area, room etc. You can turn off the objects that you are not interested in using the Settings - Selection dialog (activated by right clicking on grid icon). Alternatively place all your guidelines on their own layer, so that you then only have guidelines on a layer and there is nothing else to select.

The partial deletion of guidelines is normally only visual debris, and refreshing the screen ( F5 ) will normally remove. The most stubborn lines will be deleted by a save and load sequence.

I find it fiddly to select a guideline to delete it. I have to click around the guideline until it turns red and the I can delete it. However sometimes it only deletes some of the line and not it all. Any suggestions.
