Please see the tutorial Create 3D Furniture . This demonstrates the procedure to create a shelf unit cabinet. The same procedure was used to create the Pocket Door.

If you have the Professional or Premium versions, you can use the 3D Construction tools in the Construction Ribbon tab. There is an example to use these tools in the User manual Chapter 25 . See also the Training course Chapter 9 Adding an Inglenook . You can use these principles to build any furniture or building component.

With all other versions, you can still use the basic 3D tools and components in the catalogue. In the Training course Chapter 6, there is an example of building an entire timber conservatory, so a shelf unit is certainly possible.

The pocket door was also created using the basic 3D tools.

You can then import the drawing as a 3D model into any project.

I would like to draw a detailed elevation of a shelf unit that my builder can use - what is the best way of doing this please?
AND is it possible to then import the drawing into my room room plan please?
