I had same problem with the status bar, but can confirm this is fixed in version 4.0.2.0

Thanks for that - I loaded a project, saw a message saying updates were being downloaded, but the problem remains. I checked the version numbers, no sign of 4.02.0.

What do I need to do to get the fixes?

On some installations (mostly Windows 7), the field size for the text in the status bar was too small. The field size varied depending upon text size settings and themes defined in Windows. This has now been resolved in Visual Building v4.0.2.0
