You can display the room area and volume (in addition to useable living area, perimeter etc) in all versions of Visual Building.

In the 2D view, simply double click on the room and the Room dialog appears. In this dialog you can add comments for each room in the General section.

In the Labelling section you can switch on additional information to display, such as Floor area, room volume. You also have full control of font style and size in the Room label / Input text section.

Hi, I want to display the floor area for each room in my floorplan. I have ticked the Room labeling option in the visibility categories, but still only the room name appears. Can I display the room area calculation in the Lite version?
