After switching between different 2D views, you must reselect the dimension tool again, because the dimension tool still remembers that it is dimensioning the previous selected 2D view. Best click on the select icon to deselect the dimension tool, and the select the dimension tool again.

I have 3 view windows in my project. 2 x 2D view and 1 3D view. Each of the 2D view is set to view floor 1 and floor 2 respectively. When I start dimension the 2D views, no matter which 2D view is current, the dimension lions always appear in the same 2D view for floor 1. How can I dimension floor 2 in the second 2D view?
