The real project that is the subject of the Visual Building Training Course is a semi detached, with an extension and a conservatory. The shared wall would be constructed in exactly the same way. The construction may differ from other exterior walls, having less heat insulation in favor of sound insulation- depending on age and construction methods used.

e.g. How do I create a party wall? Do I just create a wall as usual?

Is there a free library of projects somewhere on this site that contains real examples of UK semi detached houses?
