Yes you can easily place a wall with a slope. No need to create 3D object.
Please see video: Placing wall below stairs To butt up a wall, you can create a new layer (the existing Floor plan is a layer) and add your new wall to that layer. The software then wont recognise the wall join so you would need to identify the wall connection using a Room Boundary wall type in order to define the room. I'm attempting to construct an entrance stairway. I would like the retaining walls to follow the pitch of the steps. Is there a way to do this? I can construct a solid 3D element to give me the shape I want but this seems to be a bit complicated, I wondered if I was missing something.
I've also run into an issue where I need one wall to butt up against its neighbour, the wall sections are different heights but the software creates a diagonal join. Is there a way to force this to a 90° join. Thanks. |
