See Cant Save Project Although that problem relates to a bug in the Measue tool, quite often the Cant Save error can be resolved by closing the 2D view and reopening a New 2D view.

I have an error message -

"Errors occurred while writing the project file. The previous version of the project file was rebuild (sic)

Please try to save the project using the 'Save as' function and inform our support about this problem."

I have a subsequent message sying an instance of an object has no object reference.
