Have you looked at these videos:
Wall placement using numerical input
Guidelines
Dimension Lines

Remember to use Ctrl+W to define the snap edge of the wall being placed.

Also remember to turn the grid off to prevent your wall snapping to grid instead of desired snap point.

Dimension lines are not automatically added during the wall placement, but are easily added with 2 clicks for each dimension required.

I have just started with Visual Building Pro but predictably have failed at the first hurdle. I have constructed an L shaped floor plan with the correct dimensions but when I try and add an internal wall I cant see where its being located. Is there some way of having automatic dimensions shown?
