In the Projects tree display, right click on a floor (eg Ground floor) and from the context popup menu select New Layer. You can name this layer Scans or similar.

Now in the 2D view containing the imported image, select the imported image and then right click on the imported image and from the context pop up menu select Move to layer, (If you cant select the image be sure that the current floor that you imported the scan to is the current floor.) Select your new layer to place the scan on that layer. You can now hide the scanned image by switching off the new layer.

Alternatively you can switch off Images in the Visibility category, but this then hides all images, whereas with layers you can be selective about which images to hide.

I have edited my previous answer to make it clearer. The menu will only appear if the image is selected.

Followed the Import from 2d plan tutorial. Once completed how do I get rid of the scanned plan that has been overlaid?
I cannot find any kind of layer options, Thanks for any advise.
