Thankyou for the positive feedback. Have you used the Construction support feature? If during input of a wall for example if you right the mouse you will activate a context menu :

This menu has shortcut keys several inputs. The result of a construction aid is either a single point, as a replacement for a normal mouse click when planning, or a line along which the next point can be defined, e.g. a perpendicular.

It should be noted that the resultant point is treated exactly like a mouse click. Depending on the input tool being used, elements expect one, two or more clicks during construction. Supports are positioned with one point, walls always expect two points, namely the start point and the end point of the wall. In the case of a tool that expects only one point, e.g. a support, the support is inserted directly at the point defined on termination of the construction aid. To insert a wall therefore, the construction aid can be used twice, to define a start and end point.

The construction aids which are available are listed in the context menu. The letters in parentheses are shortcuts over which a construction aid can be activated at anytime during input.

To call the construction aid ‘Center point’ simply press ‘m’ on the keyboard.

If you press the p key you will activate the Insert point dialog where you can enter the x, y,z cooridinates.

Here is a video demonstrating this feature:

And did you know that most numeric fields will support calculations, as an examples, instead of entering just a value into a field you can enter:

10+2(2.54) for example.

Other examples of calculated input:

Examples of input:

100 + 100
100+SQRT(25)
2*(3+2)
ATAN(1)
SIN(60)
COS(60)
3.*((2+5*2/COS(60)))
10+2*(5+1/COS(60))

Search "numeric input" and "construction support" in help file for more info.

Dear Visualbuilding,

I very like your product. However I found the numeric input a little bit awkward. I think would be much better with Hotkeys, for example CtrlG (as Grab) than X,Y,Z and than the number like in Blender 3D. I did not find better way, is there ?
