Ridge height 03 Nov 2014 18:25 #1807

If you are working to a specific rifge height, then you must either change the roof pitch or lower the wall plate. I most cases. To lower the roof (ie wall plate) this is best done by creating an elevation view of the building and then in the Roof Construction dialog reduce the height of the roof by the required amount.

You can use dimension lines to measure the height of the ridge and then lower the roof by the required amount.

Enter a negative value to lower the roof, then click on Apply anfd then OK.

I need to set the GF and FF floor heights and GF ceiling thickness. And then I need to set the ridge height so that it complies with the planning permission? What's the best way of doing this?
