Text can be added to a 2D drawing at any time. You can use the text tool to place free text, or you can insert the text spoecific to a room. but in this case the room must be drawn first. You can see this
demonstrated in this video.
Visual Building will generate the floor plan and 3D images for such brochures, but I suggest you use Word or similar to layout the brochure. To create a pdf image is explained here . If you are wanting to create many 2D floor plans where creation time is more importantant than precision, then Visual Floor Planner is the better solution. You can try the full version of Visual Floor Planner here . Where you need precision with 2D and 3D: Visual Building Where creation time for 2D is important: Visual Floor Planner Visual Floor Planner has a symbol library specifically for the use of DEA. |

Hi,
Is it possible to add text to a 2D floor plan during the drawing stage? Also, can you point me towards a tutorial that gives a more detailed account of how to create a pdf property brochure? I am A DEA and am looking to supply my estate agents with floor plans, I have VB Basic but wonder if I would be better off with just the floor planner software. Regards Ian |
