There are several alternatives and as we have been asked this several times, we have added the solution to the
Visual Building Training Course
documentation. (Currently chapter 26).
Create a new layer and add the wall to this layer. Do not completely enclose an area with the wall as you will then create a new room, and you dont want that. (Leave a small gap.)
By adding it on its own layer this gives you the opportunity to turn it on/off in your 2D/3D views.
Then in the 3D view double click on each wall section and in the wall’s General dialog select the wall’ height from Automatic to manual, by inserting a wall height.
