VBB wont launch beyond splash screen 25 May 2017 15:12 #2730

Yes, sure. Serial numbers are unique for each computer.
Please send the serial number of your new system to customercare@visualbuilding.co.uk.

Problem persists, so I installed a trial version on my quad core Win 10 computer and it works. However it is not recognising my license. I presume the serial number is different now.
Can I get a new license for the new computor?

Hi,

the log file should have been saved to your user folder, C:\USERS\Your_Username\Documents\Visual Building...\ . File Name is "App.log". Please send it via email to customercare@visualbuilding.co.uk .

In nearly all of those cases some Microsoft packages are missing on your Windows system. Für a 64-bit system you can download the following packages and install them seperately:

It is more than likely that only one package is missing so you could try to launch Visual Building after the first Installation and if it works skip the second setup:

First:
www.cygnicon-download.de/downloads/runti...015/vcredist_x64.exe

Second:
www.cygnicon-download.de/downloads/runti...010/vcredist_x64.exe

Regards

Thomas

First time installation of VBB, licensed but wont launch past splash screen. It halts and brings up a panels saying "Application has been terminated. Reason for the termination has been saved to your logfile"

I have reinstalled the program but it comes up with the same result.

System:
Windows 7 Home Premium
Intel Core 2 CPU - 6700 2x2.66GHz
2GB RAM
64-bit OS
250GB HDD
