You can use the Surface Editor tool located in the PlugIn toolbar. This tool allows you to draw either an irregular or regular shape on a surface such as a wall and apply a texture to it. This video demonstrates some other uses of the Surface editing tool. If the surface has a door or window then the texture is automatically cut around these objects. You can also adjust the thickness of the surface.



This video shows how to use the Surface Edit tool to define the property area, but of course there is an easier way using the Terrain tools. This can then be applied directly onto the environment layer.

I have an external wall that is made of two different types of bricks. The wall allows me to apply a single texture. How can I apply an additional brick texture?
