You are correct. The height of the walls defined in the level on which you have placed your roof do not matter as they will all be cut by the roof.

Forget the previous question, as I just realised that I must increase the Rough height in the attic floor to something like 4m. I should have watched the tutorial videos before asking.

However I think it would be a good feature so that the walls height is automatically extended to meet with the roof apex, rather than having to guess the amount to extend it. Does it matter if I put any value here as it does not seem to matter as long as the height reaches the roof apex.

When I create a house with 2 floors I must create 3 floors the 3rd floor being for trhe attic. But the wall height of the attic never reaches to the apex of the roof leaving a gap. How doi I remove this gap?
