Ok. Understood.

Thank you again for the fantastic support!!

To create the horizontal roof apex for this roof section would require the creation of two roof sections which could then be merged together. This is beyond the ability of the standard roof editor and possible only with Visual Building Premium which has advanced roof editing features. You can of course create this in the Premium version (including the trial version) , and export the roof as a 3D model, which could then be reused in your Basic version.

Many thanks for the help. I did not realise that the main front roof section was really actually two sections that join up. Duh!

I am still not quite fixed with the roof though, because the ridge at the top of the bay section is actually horizontal rather than sloping (see attachment) and I am still wondering how to solve that one?

Thank you also for the tip about the windows.

I examined your project and the overhang on the section in error is 0.5m while all other overhangs are 0.1m. So make this change and your roof will be correct.

ps Your windows are back to front. To rectify, right click on each window and select Change opening direction.

Could you email the project so we can examine and add the roof that you require directly.

I also have a difficult roof line problem (see attached screen shot). It concerns a terrace house with a bay front. The problem concerns the overhang on the front main roof slope (left hand side of the plan). The overhang on one side of the roof is 0.1 M whereas the overhang on the other side seems to be more (see red circle). What do you think is going on? And how to fix it?
