Ok thanks, defining a bed to be the same size as the plot area works. I guess I thought the act of creating a plot area would in itself allow you to give it properties like surface (grass/tarmac) and edge (fence//hedge).

Thanks for the reply. I have defined my plot area using the terrain tool and I can see the corresponding outline in the 2d plan. My problem is that I cannot see this on the 3d plan. I only ever see the default environment square. I was hoping for a way to easily see how big the plot was on the 3d plan.

Adam the plot object that you refer is the Environment block, and does not really represent the plot. To add a plot which is normally a polygon or rectangle, use the Terrain tools. It often helps to create a layer specific for the terrain / plot.
Incidentally you can change the size of the Environment block, by select the Environment layer and then double clicking on the block, and changing its size in he activated dialog. |

The default plot seems to be a big squaret. I've defined my actual plot area but can only see it in the 2d plan. Is there a way of deleting/hiding the default plot area or alternatively add a fence/hedge which would highlight my plot?
