If you have dxf/dwg files of your kitchen parts you can import these 2D files into Visual Building Professional and this gives you a starting point to start creating your own 2D and 3D objects. The Visual Building Professional also allws you to create your own 3D models with complete control of texturing. If you would like an example of how to do this, please send an example kitchen frame and top / doors that you want to create, and I will put it here fo all to see.
With Visual Building Basic you can change the existing kitchen objects frame size and on most objects you can drag a new material/texture onto a specific surface- depending upon how the object was created. With the Visual Building Professional (and Premium / Solar Designer), using the 3D Converter tool you can access all material surfaces and edit them. |

I have been using your Basic version to draw out some kitchens designs, and have been successful in doing this (resizing the existing frames), although I have only used the standard set of kitchen components. I want to go one step further and use the actual kitchen frames and doors that I use. Some of the frames are bespoke so to fit the kitchen being designed. How do I create my own kitchen frames and doors? If possiible I would also like to vary the colour choice of work tops and door panels. Do I need to use a more advanced version of Visual Building to achieve this?
