You can install onto such a network using the same serial number twice, eg onto a desltop and laptop. The program folders can not be shared, but the data folders can. Each install will create a new serial number and you would need to request a license key for each.

You can export a 3D model to be viewed on the internet using the free version of unity. See unity examples .

I have an install question....
My home network has multiple PC's which have shared drives.
My preferred install would be on a shared drived, this would probably be called a 'portable' install. This would then permit using the program on multiple PC's. Of course this wouldn't require multiple concurrent copies of the program running, just being able to use laptop vs desktop.
Is there this capability with VisialBuilding?

in addition, although this would probaby be covered somewhere in the extensive docs or FAQ's is there a free viewing program version, a version which could display a model, without any editing or saving capability?
