North-American standard walls? 25 Feb 2017 09:16 #2713

Hi,

there is no automatic wall construction with Wood Frames and joist right now, sorry.

The Training Course contains a chapter at page 210 in which an alternative construction with single Elements is described as a Workaround.

Hello, newbe here :)
I downloaded the trial version and started to play with it in earnest.
So I decided to trace an outside wall an found that all the types of walls are bricks, cement blocks and involve masonry, where here in canada we always build homes with wood frames and joist.
In there a list of walls available (optional maybe) that follows the north-american standards.
This is a deal-breaker for me. The software looks promising but is useless here in my part of the planet.
Also, how can I specify the wall thickness in inches, not in feet and fraction of feet? Is this the standard British way?

Thank you, Luc
