In this particular case I don't think the objects where side by side. However I solved the problem by copying similar objects from the other side of the building.

thanks

Hi,

problems with boolean operations often appear when the involved solids are positioned edge to edge.

In most cases it is better to let the 3D solids overlap.

- Try to change the size of one of your solids, make one of it bigger to avoid edge to edge situations
- looks as if you would get the same result using "Difference" instead of cutting to plane

If both options don't work we would need your project file. (customercare@visualbuilding.co.uk)

Hi,

I'm using cut to plane to cut some 3d cladding objects to the roof plane. I'm using a rotated cube as the plane but I had the same problem when I just used the roof items. When I try to cut the whole object disappears . I have used it successfully in other for the cladding.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
