The UK wall construction layer templates are in the download section of this forum, but they will also be included in the Update available in a few days.

In the above mentioned video tutorial you have some wall construction layouts specifically for the UK brick sizes. where can i download these from?

In all versions of Visual Building you can define alternative hatching in the 2D and even the component parts of a wall. The following shows the steps:

1. Right click on wall for Wall properties dialog.
2. Select Layer construction
3. Click on Default Material
4. Select 2D Display
5. Select Pattern and select hatching style from drop down list.

2D Elevation views can be created in Visual Building Basic and above.

Hi there I was wondering whether the 2d plans can give a little more detail with hatchings etc bit more like actual architect plans as all the walls seem to be solid and therefore do not give any detail also can 2d elevations of the plan as well as the plan be produced and also what is the best way to ensure i have scaled my drawings correctly or how do i scale my drawings for actual use? thanks
