Each 2D and 3D view has its own View properties settings. Each time you create a new view you must set the properties not required,. e.g If you never want to show Compass or Orign mark in your 2D view you must disable these each time you create a new 2D view.
Most dialogs have a Save default option that allows such settings to be saved and remembered for future use, but for some reason the visibility dialog does not.
The suggestion is that there is a Save default view settings for the visibility dialog that can be saved, which is used when a new view is created. There would also be a greater advantage if the 3D view, 2D view and the 2D section view had their individual defaults.
These defaults would only be used when a new view is created.
