Its possibly a memory problem if you are using a high resolution such as 600 dpi . Try reducing the dpi of the pdf output software to 300 or less. This is not normally a problem for A2 and smaller sheets, but A1 at a high dpi is a lot of data.

This is likely to be due to the relationship between the paper size selected (A1) and the drawing scale.

I would need to see the project in order to advise.

I am trying to print some plans to a PDF at A1, but every time I try it only seem to print a small section of the page. See attached image.

Any help would be appreciated as need to take this PDF to the printers in the next hour.
