You must ensure the imported 2D image is selected, and that it is on the current selected layer.
You then right click on the selected image and will activate a context menu from which you select Adjust Scaling. (you don't mention this in your description) You then click on 2 known measured points to set the actual size in an activated dialog and then image will rescale. See 19.5.6 Scaling Images and 2D Elements in The Visual Building User Manual for a complete description. It works every time so there is something wrong in your method, possibly not getting the context menu by right clicking on the selected object. |

I have inserted the location plan via insert bitmap but when I click on adjust scaling it doesn't allow me to click on two points for it to be measured. usually when adjust scaling the arrow on screen turns into a + but it doesn't do that when in the plan view. I'm not too sure if i've done something wrong
Sorry for all questions |

Use the 2D Layout - Insert Bitmap tool to add the location plane. Its best added to its own layer, but not essential. You can the rescale the inserted bitmap, by right clicking on it and selecting Adjust scaling from the activated context menu. Using a known measurement on the imported location plan, you can set it to the correct size / scale that you require.

I have almost finished my a1 plan view. All I have to do is place a location plan into the plan view and then I am finished. I have an A4 location plan that is scaled 1:1250 that I have scaled onto my computer. I was wondering how I can insert this into my plan to scale?
Any help would be great Regards |
