Hi,

you have probably set the "Roof Areas" visible. Roof areas are transparent solids, one for each roof side. And on gable ends, where there is no real roof side we are using rectangular placeholders. Roof areas are an artifact of the past used for some specialized construction functions and still in there for compatibility reasons only.

Roof areas are usually invisible so just switch them off again in your visibility settings, right click in your view, Visibility…., Roof construction - Roof Elements -Roof-Areas .

Hi,

New to the software but seem to be getting on with it okay, a few strange things occurring.

I currently have the highlighted objects on both gable end of the roof, they are part of the roof but I can't see how to remove or hide them.
