Symptom:
You cant not save project. Attempts to save project result in an error message that refers to Measuring Tool.
Examination of error log shows recent use of Measure tool:
Cygnicon.CyCore.Measuring.BMeasuring
Problem:
Use of the measure tool (not the dimension tool) sometimes leaves a temporary measure object in one of the 2D views. Measure objects should be internally deleted when the tool ends, but for an unknown reason this sometimes does not happen. We don’t know why and we are still investigating this bug. When such a temporary (and typically invisible) element exists you can’t save.
Solution:
Create a new 2D view and then close the 2D view in which you have used the measure tool. Closing the view destroys the measure object. You will not lose any data.
You should now be able to save the project.
