a) If you mean to import a 2D image into a 2D plan:
You can import a .bmp, .jpg, .png or .gif image into your project using the 2D Layout tab- 2D Drawing Functions - Insert Bitmap tool. Select Insert as Rectangle and from the activated dialog select your 2D image file, and then place the image in your 2D plan. You can then rescale the image. b) If you mean to import a 2D image to use as a texture, then copy your texture into: C:\Program Files\Visual Building Basic 5\Textures\My Textures You will see that most existing images are .bmp at 72 dpi. If you want to use such an image to tile a wall then you have to take care that the image is tileable. The texture will then appear in the texture catalogue, after you refresh the catalogue view. c) If you mean to use 2D image as a 2D Symbol, then please watch the Creating 2D symbol tutorial video. |
