Another method or "trick" is to put the walls on different layers, in which case the wall will not connect in the normal way:

Use the Room boundary wall type to define the wall in order to achieve the room integrity.

I have found a post that looks like what i am trying to achive but I can't get it to work in the way i think the tool works.

Hi all

I am trying to get the two walls to connect by butting to each other. One of the walls is standard Brick the other is timber frame but what ever i do i cont get the to butt to each other they always join





Is there a trick to getting the walls to butt up.
