If you require plans that include elevation views (normally required for planning applications) then Visual Building Basic is the minimum that you require.

If you wish to save your drawing as .dwg then you will require Visual Building Premium. Of course you only need to export as dwg, if you expect a third party to use your drawings as input to AutoCad or similar, otherwise you can supply as pdf files using the Basic version.

Hi I am looking to remodel my bungalow. I am looking for a home design 3D CAD program that I can produce floor layout that may be acceptable to UK planning depts or saved as dwr files for architects to open. Please advise which product will do this.
