The trial pdf converter was a 3rd party plugin product and was badly named because it was a pdf importer, not exporter, which one would expect.
If you need to import plans then it is just as easy to import them as a bmp, png or jpg and no need to import as a pdf. See this topic for downloading a pdf export tool. So this is not the PDF writer that you think it is. Best to remove it to stop it nagging you: The total list of Plugins and availability are as follows: Visual Building Lite Project Wizard Editable Window / Door sizes Roof editor Stair editor Multilayer walls Wall editor Dimension and measurement tools Terrain editor Surface editor (tiled areas) Import bitmap (trace plans) Multiple 2D / 3D views World positioning for shadow calculations Ray tracing Walkthrough panel Create new 2D symbols Timber list report Visual Building Basic All the features of Visual Building Lite+: 2D Section views Isometric 2D projection view Enhanced 2D graphic edit tools Export .3ds, .cob Export to Google Sketchup (via .3ds) Item list report Visual Building Professional All the features of Visual Building Basic +: Import DXF/DWG (Plugin) Window Construction (Plugin) Create new 3D objects via 3D Converter (Plugin) Edit existing 3D object’s materials Create light source objects (lamps) Import 3D objects (.3ds) 3D Section views Presentation Layout (Plugin) Area / Volume reports Visual Building Premium All the features of Visual Building Professional +: Export DXF/DWG (Plugin) Visual Building Solar Designer All the features of Visual Building Premium +: Fast project creation Automatic solar panel placement Calculate FIT Solar installation report |

My email was concerning a Popup that I get when opening Visual Building Solar Designer telling me that PDF Converter PlugIn trial has expired, I was not aware that this was only a trial I assumed that as I purchased the top level of product from your company that this would be included.
As I would like to save and print using the PDF feature I would be grateful if you could point me in the right direction to purchase, if necessary, the licence for this PlugIn as I am unable to find it on your website or within the Forum. [Brian] |
